This is all new to me, I don't want to feel out of place?

This is a great place to start. The club has members who are interested in all different areas having to do with minerals, fossils, gemstones, geology and the lapidary arts. This is a passion for most of us. Our members having varying degrees of knowledge on different subjects. We were all beginners at some point in time so don't feel you won't fit in. Someone here can help you find your way. Join us, the worst that may happen is that you will learn something!!!

What about kids?

Children of all ages are welcome at our meetings & events. We also participate in the AFMS Future Rockhounds of America (FRA) program, which promotes the growth of our hobby for future generations. This is a badge program developed just for our junior members - Geo Juniors as we like to call them. For more information on this program, visit our Future Rockhounds of America page by clicking here.
